Mr Mole won his bumper at Hereford in April with plenty to spare and Paul Nicholls will be keen to do well with the J P McManus-owned gelding this season. But he may be up against a very decent recruit here in MELODIC RENDEZVOUS, who found only Cheltenham hero Champagne Fever too strong in the Champion Bumper at the Punchestown Festival in April. If he can translate that form to hurdles, Jeremy Scott's six-year-old should take all the beating. Dom Lukka won a couple of chases in the French provinces in the spring but it will be a surprise if he can keep tabs on the principals unless the ground becomes very tacky.
