Verdict

A small field goes to post for the last on the card and it looks a straight forward opportunity for Thorntoun Holm to get back on the winning track. The gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard won well on his debut when defeating Indian Chase and then he was second in a much better race than this last time out. He is taken to score with conditions again in his favour despite giving weight to all of his rivals. Mounts Bay rates the main danger he was fourth on his debut behind Renvyle and is sure to have learnt from the experience. Tsar's Twist has also shown a modicum of ability but he is bred to do better over further. None of the newcomers appeal on breeding so Thorntoun Holm is impossible to oppose.
