Woulduadamandeveit has been a huge disappointment in his two runs to date over hurdles but there was promise in Shaughnessy’s first run over obstacles here last month and the step up in distance should bring about improvement. Unwin Vc won a couple of bumpers last season and had subsequent hurdles winners behind in the second of those. NEARLY PERFECT came up against an odds-on chance at Southwell that has already won three times over hurdles.
