In depth

Verdict

Pirates' Tale finished runner-up at Newton Abbot on his debut and is preferred to Uttoxeter fourth Matthias. But BOND BROKER cost £80,000 at the sales having beaten a subsequent chase winner when landing a point-to-point at Garthorpe and he gets the vote. Palacio is related to a host of NH winners including the smart Whisper while Dunbulcan Bay is a brother to a winner between the flags. Anno Power and Misting are others worth a second glance.
