Vieux Lille has a recent outing under his belt but was only a modest fourth at Chepstow on his chasing bow. Private Malone was also well beaten on his chasing debut last year and the rest go over fences for the first time. American has won over hurdles at Ascot and dual hurdles winner Missed Approach is another with claims. THE EAGLEHASLANDED shares a similar rating to the latter over timber and he gets a speculative vote with the Nicholls yard hitting top form. A Grade 2 novice winner over hurdles last year, Label Des Obeaux is not out of this either.
