Not the stongest of novice chases, but competitive nonetheless, with Soeur Fontenail setting the standard. Plauged with problems in her early days, Nigel Hawke's giant mare has been the model of consistency this term and she must go well in this, while Indeed To Goodness made a winning debut over fences last month and is open to improvement, as is Regal Holly, who won a poor race in good style at Folkestone earlier this month. However, a chance is taken with chasing debutante Cesaria. A fair handicapper over hurdles, she looks the sort to do better over fences and doesn't face a difficult task in this.
