Dangan Des Champs went for £44,000 at the sales after finishing first past the post in an eventful Dromahane point-to-point where she was disqualified for taking the wrong course. She has a stamina-packed pedigree so should be at home over this trip on her debut for Philip Hobbs. LAGONDA won a point by 25 lengths and hasn't had the stamina test she requires in two bumpers though she's performed with credit in both and this should bring out the best in her. Anthony Honeyball has a strong hand with Midnight Callisto, who has been a beaten favourite in three of her four starts since a successful debut in a Fontwell bumper, and another bumper winner in Windswept Girl, though the latter was beaten 25 lengths into third on her hurdling debut.
