In depth

Verdict

A big field face the starter in this but it's easy enough to put a line through a few. Bredon Hill Lad had Aroseforoscar and Karl Marx behind over a shorter trip here last month but was well beaten over course and distance last time in a race in which the hat-trick seeking Ballyegan finished second, though was beaten 15 lengths. Tara Tavey has been knocking on the door but has gone up 3lb for finishing second to the prolific Steel Summit here last time. Brantingham Breeze wasn't beaten far at Plumpton last time but is proving difficult to place and Lingfield second Warsaw Pact is still 6lb higher than his last winning mark. KENTFORD MYTH is still a maiden but has generally competed at a higher level. The trip is a bit of an unknown but Kevin Jones' claim will help her cause so she gets a tentative vote.
