    Verdict

    Definitely Better won here and at Southwell over hurdles last month but starts off over fences on a stiff-looking mark. It's difficult to fancy Witchesintune from 21lb out of the handicap while Midnight Cataria needs to brush up her jumping. Our Cat was pulled up on her chasing debut at Uttoxeter but has won a point-to-point. ALDER MAIRI was up against a couple of decent novices at Huntingdon earlier this month and did as well as could be expected. She'll know more today and can make the most of the 2lb she receives from Carlisle runner-up Midnight Belle.
