Master d'Or has returned with a vengeance this season and is fancied to have too many guns for Bell Lane Lad and Supreme Tadgh. Not many of the rest have really caught the eye with what they have shown to date, so it will come as no surprise to see Toomebridge emerge as the best of the rest, despite having a long absence to overcome. Supreme Tadgh is better than his recent profile would suggest and fully deserved his victory at Taunton just over a week ago. He needs to find more under his 7lb penalty but should be capable of giving a good account of himself if he is in the same mood. Bell Lane Lad performed with credit behind a couple of fair types at Huntingdon earlier in the month and looks to be getting his act together well at present. If anything, this is a weaker contest and he will be a serious contender if he does not suffer from the 'bounce factor'. Nevertheless, they all look up against it with Master d'Or, who has plenty of chasing experience to draw from and will not need to find much improvement to score in this company from his revised mark.
