Verdict

AP McCoy rides COACH LANE for the first time since partnering the gelding to victory in a handicap at Lingfield five years ago. Nick Mitchell's 10-year-old isn't the force of old but that win was achieved off a 13lb higher mark and the bottom weight could make short work of these if benefiting from a recent pipe-opener at Worcester. Morestead has claims on his third at Fontwell last month but is difficult to win with, while Daneva never built on her Newton Abbot win in July and was back in selling company last time. Rory Boy kept better company last season but has changed stables recently and Wrapitupboys has a bit to prove after a lay-off.
