None of these arrive in sparkling form but I'm So Special ran her best race so far when third at Southwell, though has gone up again in the weights since. Kings Apollo won at Ludlow and Towcester in November but has looked in the handicapper's grip since and Monderon has failed to build on his defeat of Tom Symonds' charge at Towcester three runs ago. BOB KEOWN couldn't handle heavy ground at Taunton in January when well behind General Girling but an earlier third at Bangor wasn't a bad effort and Paul O'Brien claims a valuable 7lb again - he may be worth another chance.
