In depth

Verdict

A big field contest in the last but the three to look out for are The Composer, Shannnon Springs and Artipeuil with the vote going to the last named. The selection comes form a top yard that are in top form at present. The horse has only had two runs in this country and has shown form on both occassions most laterly when third to Ornais at Exeter. If repeating that form he will prove difficult to beat. The Composer will be his biggest danger having run well to finished second on both his outings last season. He may want for fitness though having his first run but is worth noting in the betting market. Shannon Springs looks a bigger danger as he has run well on both runs this season. His recent second to Hawridge Star at Chepstow was a good run as the winner looks special so is one to note. But for the winner we return Artipeuil.
