In depth

Verdict

Dunraven Storm won here in the autumn and went on to land a Grade 2 at Cheltenham. He never figured in last week's Arkle and was pulled up but has every chance of bouncing back in this much easier contest. But Lingfield and Fontwell winner Leo Luna, who stays much further, will have to make this a real test of stamina if he's to succeed and that won't suit the Hobbs' gelding. CARRAIG MOR beat last week's RSA Chase runner-up Southfield Theatre in a Grade 2 at Newbury in November. He then unseated his rider when leading Coneygree in the Kauto Star at Kempton and can be forgiven his run on bottomless ground at Haydock subsequently. Alan King's charge is the pick of the weights in this as the other pair look out of their depth.
