Third Level Tom is the best option in a tricky handicap hurdle where Montecorvino, and Frosty Jack are others to bear in mind. Frosty Jack loves this course and, as he represents very shrewd connections, he cannot confidently be ruled out. The ground ought not to be a problem for him and he can go close if fit after his winter break. Montecorvino likes a test of stamina and comes here on the back of a solid run last time out. However, he, like may of the rest, is not the most consistent and needs to be at his best to prevail. Another worth noting is Indian Chase, who ran encouragingly at Hereford in March. He has bits and pieces of form to attract each-way punters and it would be no real shock to see him go close at fancy odds. However, Third Level Tom, who makes the journey over from Ireland, and far and away the most interesting contender. Charles Byrnes¿ charge is sure to be a popular choice as the stable's sole representative in the UK this week - a fact which may be down to lack of opportunities at home as much as anything. However, he gets on very well with Davey Russell and it would come as no surprise to see them take the spoils back home with them today.
