The Clyda Rover beat Sea Saffron by seven lengths in the Devon National over this track and trip six weeks ago but Susan Gardner's course specialist is 10lb better off and entitled to turn the tables. He must be thereabouts but DERMATOLOGISTE has to be the choice after getting back to winning ways at Wetherby. Lightly-raced, he beat Jaunty Journey over this trip at Bangor in 2011 and has plenty of stamina. Upham Atom also stays well but has been raised 5lb after winning over 3m5f at Taunton while Double Dizzy has been well beaten in all recent starts. Global Power may be best of the rest but remains high enough in the weights.
Upham Atom 7-4fav (10-2) Jumped right, made virtually all, joined 15th, pressed 3 out, in command between last two, stayed on gamely, ridden out, won at Taunton 3m 5f hcp chs 0-145 (2) sft in Mar beating Sona Sasta (10-2) by 4l, 4 ran.
