In depth

Verdict

BERTIE WOOSTER is a fascinating newcomer being a half-brother to champion bumper Fayonagh. He could shrug off a lack of experience to get the better of Knockanore, narrowly beaten on his debut under Rules at Newcastle, and winning pointer Park This One, who finished second at Hereford. Waterloo Quay and Insolente Nelsa are both capable of better and may prove the best of the others with experience.
