Star Trouper is tried in a hood having failed to settle when second on his hurdling debut at Taunton in November. Whispering Storm runs for the first time over timber and needs to step up on his form in bumpers but Brotherly Company should go well as he's learning with experience over jumps and wasn't beaten far when third at Taunton last time. PURE VISION ran very well in all three starts in bumpers and makes his debut over hurdles at a realistic level. It will be a surprise if he's not in the firing-line as his yard is back in form and Barry Geraghty only has a couple of rides for retainer J P McManus today.
