    Verdict

Palace Boy may have found the going at Newbury softer than ideal after winning at Chepstow. Lallygag is 2-3 here and generally progressive but is up against a couple of above-average novices in this. Western Zephyr has been a short-priced favourite in each of his three runs to date over hurdles and won at Ludlow and Huntingdon but LUCCIA (NAP) only had to be shaken up to pull clear of a couple of subsequent winners at Newbury on her hurdles bow and could be Cheltenham-bound. Ittack Blue made a promising start at Newbury in November but may need more time.
