In depth

Verdict

Rouge Et Blanc makes a swift reappearance under a penalty after winning at Huntingdon on Thursday. Bally Legend wasn't winning out of turn at Kempton last month but could struggle to confirm that form with the equally consistent Niceonefrankie on worse terms and Tail Of The Bank jumped poorly when gambled on at Sandown eight days ago. Frontier Spirit and Pateese aren't without a chance while Simply Wings has been in good form but is now on a career-high mark. GOLDEN CHIEFTAIN isn't easy to predict but this is probably his best trip and he would have a good chance of recapturing the winning thread here if reproducing his third to Unioniste in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham in December.
