Verdict

Jimmy Frost's Whatcanisay ran well when finding just one too good two outings ago at Worcester in June but was pulled up at Uttoxeter on his first run since then last month so he looks best watched. Nigel Hawke's Manmoon gave little sign for encouragement when well held on his return last month, while Jamie Snowden's Xtravaganza was little better than moderate on the level and seems no better under National Hunt rules. Quapriland has shown little sign of ability and a tentative vote in a poor quality event goes the way of ROBBERS BRIDGE. Victor Dartnell's gelding has been well held in three starts over hurdles but showed promise on his only outing in a bumper previously and he may be worth chancing on his reappearance and chasing debut as he is bred to appreciate the switch to the larger obstacles.
