SALONTYRE stands out at the weights here and gets the vote ahead of Hareem, The Disengager and Alternator. The last-named will appreciate the slight drop in trip here after running very well for a long way behind Lady Bling Bling at Kempton last month. The winner has come out and repeated the dose, strengthening that form, and it is possible that the eight-year-old may still have a little bit more improving to do so he is respected. The Disengager finished closer to the winner in that same race, showing his best form to date in the process. He will probably do better over fences, though is not discounted today. Hareem sports a first-time visor today and can go well, though looks a bit high in the weights, while French Saulaie would have decent claims if able to produce his best form. The selection, however, is Salontyre. John Llewellyn has his string in good form and this four-year-old gets the age allowance, plus a further 7lbs off his back through his pilot, while he acts on the ground, should stay this far, and is well clear at the weights. We think those are the ingredients in a recipe for success.
