In depth

Verdict

DUNGENESS seems to have got his act together and was a fairly comfortable winner on heavy ground at Warwick last month. He has 8lb more to carry here but Tom Bellamy's claim claws back nearly half of that and the six-year-old should take all the beating. Kieron Edgar is good value for his allowance and can be competitive on board then unexposed Smiles For Miles while The Rattler Obrien was only beaten a length off today's mark over a longer trip at Taunton last time. The Happy Warrior won at Taunton in December but was surprisingly beaten when well treated at Southwell next time and is 11lb higher now.
