Verdict

Another small field goes to post for the finale, with most holding a chance on their best form, but the principals look to be Just In Time, Top Trees and Happy Hussar and the confident vote goes to Just In Time. The gelding from the Phillip Hobbs yard has had an abortive attempt over fences but now he is switched back to hurdles is taken to score despite his big weight, with conditions in his favour in this poor race. Top Trees rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Waterspray but he still remains a maiden. Happy Hussar is also worthy of respect but his best form to date has come over a longer trip with more cut in the ground so he is opposed here. Mutadarra has been disappointing of late so the confident vote goes to Just In Time despite his big weight.
