Verdict

ATLANTIC ROLLER made a very promising debut behind the well-regarded Royal Guardsman at Ascot in February. Third River Maigue won a well-contested bumper at Ayr last month so the form has a solid look about it and Paul Nicholls' five-year-old can go one better here. Seebright won at Towcester last month and should continue on an upward curve. But he'll find this more difficult under a penalty while this is Standing Ovation's first run under Rules, though David Pipe's charge has been placed in a point-to-point. Bertie Boru has shown promise while Three Old Amigos is probably the pick of the newcomers.
