        Verdict

        Bumper winner Saratogane can make a winning debut over hurdles at the expense of No Directions and Are You There. David Pipe's mare was successful first time out at Towcester before running with credit in good company. She will have been well schooled for this first outing over obstacles and will not have to be a world beater to win this prize. No Directions was well beaten on her hurdles debut last month, but did land a bumper in good style during the spring. She should be capable of better and looks the main threat. Are You There is from a yard in form and should step up on her recent third at Plumpton. Hendre Hotshot is a newcomer worth checking out in the betting, but Saratogane could have too much class for these rivals and she gets the decision.
