Bosuns Mate Not the best of jumpers but stays all day and clearly likes this track. Only 2lbs higher for recent course win and although he would prefer a slightly longer trip he should be in the money here.
Cherokee Boy Hit form with a vengeance in May and reproduction of latest win at Wincanton would be good enough. Loves fast ground, slight doubt about fitness.
Norlandic (NZ) Won this race last year and is now 2lbs lower. Hinted at a return to form last time, so could easily follow up. Rain would help his cause.
New Rising His only victory came over much further than this on heavy ground. May need the run and likely to get outpaced here.
Carried Interest (IRE) Has run well last twice over a trip short of his best. Going and distance should suit perfectly here and he has a major chance.
Magic Dancer (IRE) Brought down at the second here on return from absence. reasonably handicapped at best but overall recent form not too inspiring.
Walter's Destiny Closely weighted with Cherokee Boy on May running at Wincanton. Will strip fitter for reappearance but his best form has come at Wincanton.
Around The Gale (IRE) Lightly raced in last 12 months and recent reappearance at Market Rasen far from encouraging.
