Verdict

Honest Vic only finished a neck behind THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE (NAP) at Chepstow, despite making a bad mistake on the final circuit. But the latter wasn’t given a hard time once it became clear he couldn’t match the finishing speed of subsequent winner Does He Know. He can go one better today in a race won twice in the last three years by the Nicholls stable. Ask A Honey Bee was only headed on the run-in in a novices’ handicap at Uttoxeter and should be winning soon but Missyladie looks to be making up the numbers.
