In depth

Verdict

JUPITER REX has been brilliantly placed to complete a seven-timer and, as his victory at Newton Abbot on Saturday was over fences, he carries no penalty and runs off the same mark as when scoring very easily over timber at Fontwell. An eight-timer beckons though Bredon Hill Lad showed his first sign of form at Towcester last month and is on a low enough mark to give the selection a race. Lady From Geneva has been reasonably consistent but is yet to get off the mark and Zava River might prove more of a threat as he looked to be improving when getting close to Farbreaga at Kempton in February.
