In depth

Verdict

GLITZY D'OCALA was disqualified after finishing first past the post in a bumper at Chepstow last April and is effectively a winner without a penalty on his reappearance. Philip Hobbs' charge can take advantage and gets the vote ahead of two opponents with more recent form, namely Bardolf and Billy Merriott. The former was runner-up at Towcester recently and the latter occupied the same position at Taunton, but Paul Nicholls' charge may come out best here with a conditional rider taking 5lb off his back. Aintree runner-up Morgan's Bay is worth noting on his reappearance.
