There is little between Persian Moon and Pogo on ratings but the former came out best when they met in last month’s Acomb Stakes at York. A similar outcome is expected today but a chance is taken on THREE COMETS showing further progress. Roger Varian’s colt is the least exposed after winning a novice event at Hamilton and an entry in the Group 1 Futurity Trophy at Doncaster next month suggests there’s plenty more to come from him.
