    Verdict

Richard Fahey won this 12 months ago and has BALDEMAR in the starting line-up this time around. A C&D winner last month, he's been far from disgraced in a couple of subsequent runs and could be the answer to this tricky sprint. The handicapper may have got to Clear Ice, but the three-year-old Gentle Lord is interesting following his close-up third at Newmarket and Ryan Style could take some pegging back on this track under Darryll Holland if grabbing the early advantage from stall two. Another Try was second at Kempton last time but probably has his fair share of weight at present.
