Verdict

South Coast made up ground quickly at Kempton having missed the break but efforts told in the closing stages. She’ll know more today and should be winning soon while Baptism made much of the running at Newmarket before fading and is another almost certainly capable of better. GOLD SOUK was heavily punted at Goodwood earlier this month after an improved third at Newmarket but weakened quickly once headed. He shapes like a stayer so this should be a more suitable test and his experience will stand him in good stead. Moulmein may prove the pick of the two newcomers.
