      Verdict

Barwick has won over hurdles since beating Whinging Willie in last year’s renewal. But he’s 4lb higher today and GALAPIAT is preferred. A winner in France last year for Andre Fabre, the latter made a winning start for Mark Johnston when scoring by five lengths at Leicester and can defy a hike in the weights. Royal Marskell was successful in this grade at Lingfield last month and can race off a lower mark for one of his rare outings on Turf while Michael's Mount is upped in class off a 6lb higher mark having won in soft ground at Catterick in October. Ruwasi is not baldy treated on his return with Ryan Moore getting the leg-up today.
