Expect ALPINE STORM to deliver a front-running effort in the style of so many from his yard in what looks a tricky puzzle to solve. However, he comes here just five days after being inched out at Musselburgh and the Johnson horses regularly seem to thrive on that type of busy schedule, often impressing when reappearing after a short break. Trip and track should suit and he gets the nod. Approach The West is unexposed and worth a check in the market whilst Russian Royale doesn't have many miles on the clock for a four-year-old filly and shaped well last time when third to Dubai Hadeia. Connections presumably mean business with Moore booked. Killing Time has yet to sparkle in three starts this term but is too early to give up on having dropped to an attractive mark, whilst the gallant Starwatch and consistent Bayleyf are also noted in a tricky finale.
