Verdict

Irish raider Maid Of The Glens is not the most consistent but has a shout on her fourth in Listed company at Galway in September. Fiftyshadesfreed rattled-up a hat-trick over shorter trips on the all-weather last term but has yet to win on Turf and the same comment also applies to LUV U WHATEVER. But the latter has shown rapid progress this year, winning three times at Southwell, and can race off a 12lb lower mark back on this surface. Stetchworth's previous attempt at this longer trip doesn't boost confidence while Jakey could only manage fifth in this last term. But Barwick won an amateurs' race over track and trip in August and Instant Karma could go well on his handicap debut.
