        Verdict

        DELIBERATION heads a strong northern challenge and can complete the three-timer for the Kevin Ryan/Julie Burke combination. The gelding has taken time to find his form but has looked much-improved the last twice, both times making all and staying on to land the spoils in comfortable fashion. He's up 11lb for those wins but his bold tactics should suit this track and he's preferred to Blue Deer. The Channon inmate looks on a decent mark and went close at Brighton last time behind course specialist Mandhooma. Ceffyl Gwell should be all the better for his Newbury run after an absence and completes the short-list ahead of Rutterkin.
