      Verdict

      CLOUD FREE was ahead of Sahara Kitten when they met at Beverley and the pair renew rivalries with the latter perhaps a little too green on the day to be doing himself justice. Vaha is rated 78 by the handicapper and Ralph Beckett’s gelding was ultimately on the wrong end of a battle at Lingfield. Marco Botti has already saddled a couple of winning juveniles this term so any market support for Marefouri would be significant on his first visit to the racecourse. Compton Bay may do better for a little more time.
