Dandy Nicholls, who won this in four successive years from 2002, has five in this with Cape Vale, a winner at Ripon in April and poorly drawn at Newcastle last time, possibly the best of them. Flipando has been a fantastic servant to David Barron and did brilliantly to win this a year ago. He's still in good form and it would be no great shock if he were to complete the double. Swiss Cross has shot up the weights and his latest success came over 7f though he scored over this trip at Kempton in October. PARISIAN PYRAMID, who was unlucky in-running when a couple of lengths behind a year ago, has been in good form and gets the vote. Kevin Ryan's charge was conceding Tajneed 6lb when runner-up at Ripon in August with Piazza San Pietro just behind. The weights greatly favour him here and he can take this under Jamie Spencer.
