        In depth

        Verdict

        Nightingale Valley has run his best races over 6f, including when narrowly beaten at Kempton for which he's up 2lb. Andalusite won at Brighton and has been running well all year, though not on ground with some give. VERY HONEST hasn't won since completing a double early last summer but has been dropping in the weights and is now on a winnable mark so gets the nod. Coral Sea won a handicap at Goodwood in June but shot up the weights and has been unable to get competitive.
