    Verdict

Veracious has a Group 3 penalty for her victory over today's rival Awesometank at Sandown in September but appeared to have a bit in hand. She couldn't handle Group 1 company next time but reappeared with a decent effort in a Newmarket Group 2 so is greatly respected. Awesometank reappeared after a long break with a battling victory over Anna Nerium at Goodwood and there should be nothing between them again. The latter was only just beaten in this last year so obviously handles the track but the vote goes to NYALETI, beaten a neck in an Italian Group 1 last term. She returned to action with a fine run at Newmarket before failing to last out the trip in the Middleton at York.
