Not So Sleepy won last year’s renewal off today’s mark and is closely matched with Dark Red on running at Chester last month. Banditry ran well for second on fast ground at York a fortnight ago but the progressive AJMAN KING is preferred. All ground comes alike to Roger Varian’s charge and he landed a hat-trick with a course and distance success on his reappearance and beating the re-opposing Another Touch and Emenem in the process. Brorocco has won here in the past and should be sharper for a recent comeback though is 4lb higher than when last successful.
