In depth

Verdict

Chiclet showed massive improvement when just failing to hold off American Hope over 6f last month though the third has been beaten at odds-on subsequently. Distinct Hand was a 50/1 chance when making her debut over the track and trip last month but belied her odds with a fine display behind two fancied runners. SHANOOAN has ran well in both starts, especially when runner-up to the odds-on Vector Force over the course and distance and there looks much more to come from George Kent's filly. The well-connected Enterprising, a sister to a Listed winner, finished last on her debut at the Curragh in August but had been well supported so should do much better. Stablemate and newcomer Hellenistic is beautifully bred being a half-sister to numerous classy winners including at Grade 1 and 2 level.
