Verdict

PETIT CHOU is the only one of these with winning form on the surface and though she ran poorly on her return to action last month this is such a moderate contest that her 5lb rise from her successful mark shouldn't be a problem. Miss Cueta has run one good race in eight starts but a repeat of that effort, when just behind Blackwitch Woman at Cork, would put her in the picture for this. Dermot Weld runs Maunsells Duke in first-time blinkers and though he's shown nothing so far it would be no surprise to see improvement on his handicap debut. Blue Eyed Miss was racing off 86 in the UK a couple of years ago and has slipped dramatically in the ratings. She showed her first sign of form for a long time here last month and can go well.
