Verdict

Spiral Galaxy is in good form though 5lb higher after a narrow victory at Wolverhampton. The three-year-old BOHO has been unfortunate to bump into a couple of smart performers in his two starts here this month and though he has plenty of weight he has the scope to do better and gets the nod. Near Kettering, twice a winner on Turf, ran well behind Nimitz here last week and has to be respected as does New Direction, who was a bit unfortunate not to catch Still Standing in a tough Fairyhouse handicap. Bit Of Banter beat Nimitz at Naas and would have an obvious chance if taking to this surface while National Wealth didn't handle soft ground at Listowel and is another making his debut on the track. The Kid Bobby B is interesting as he was heavily supported on his return from a long break and his maiden victory here in October has worked out very well.
