MARTY'S MAGIC had shown promise in bumpers before becoming disappointing. He did much better when a close third to Shield over 2m here in January, when Luso's Way was well beaten, and could at last be starting to fulfil his potential. He's handed the vote over Ebadani, who couldn't quite get to the odds-on Heirloom on his final start on this track in July when Catchy Lass, who has been frustrating but stayed on strongly over 1m3f here last month, was a couple of lengths behind. Sinour has shown some potential and may do best of the remainder.
