Solar Benny has had very little racing for his age and gained his first victory when staying on to catch Artiste Celebre, who runs in Division 1, recently so a big run from the latter will be a pointer to his chances. Honor Oak is also lightly raced and suffered at the hands of the assessor after her easy victory here last month as she was raised 12lb. She ran well enough a couple of weeks later when not quite getting the run of the race and can make her presence felt. Swift Harry finished just in front of her in that latter event and the bumper winner was running easily his best race under Flat rules. War Room completed a double here in mid-summer but didn't run as well on his hat-trick attempt in September and has been given a break. MADEMOISELLE PENNY beat the in-form Hatch Hall at the Curragh then completed a double here three days later under a penalty. She might have hit the front a bit too soon a couple of weeks ago and was run out of it close home so compensation awaits.
