Verdict

Charlie Bassett has gradually improved on Turf and led until this trip before fading close home when tackling a mile at Bellewstown. See The Eagle Fly was a 25/1 chance on her debut at Down Royal but ran well enough to suggest she can make her presence felt while Stela Star showed the benefit of her opening run with a fair effort at Listowel. Gavin Cromwell's horses are in cracking form so PRINCESS GRACE will improve for a promising debut at Bellewstown and could be good enough. Lady Tasmania, a daughter of Australia, looks best of Jessica Harrington's pair while Johan The Great is by Zoffany out of a winning sprinter.
