Burning Brightly hadn't shown much before gaining a surprise victory in a 7f nursery here last month for which she's been raised 7lb. Lady Ravenna could only finish fourth but an 8lb pull should enable her to get closer. The latter had earlier finished fifth in a Gowran handicap in which Bouquet Garni was third and LADY ROSEBUD fourth. Wayne Lordan again rides the latter, who was noted staying on nicely from the rear, and as that was only her fourth start she can make enough progress to take this with her lowly weight. Seapoint has shown potential on Turf and the half-sister to six winners is definitely one to keep on the right side while Joseph O'Brien's pair, Richard Strauss and Epitaph, both make their all-weather and handicap debuts.
