Sir Mark Prescott wouldn't be sending Master Diver here without good reason but the son of Mastercraftsman led for a long way over 6f at Newcastle before failing to quicken and has further to travel here. Pacific Fleet showed some potential for David O'Meara and will have needed his recent run after a long break and is expected to do better. AL BATAL hasn't been beaten far in most of his races over shorter. He didn't quite last out this trip last time but, ridden with more restraint here, can take this over the reasonably-consistent Proud And Elated, who is rarely beaten far.
